Thrive acquired the Chapelton wind farm site in 2019. The site near Girvan in South Ayrshire, Scotland has land and planning rights for three turbines with a capacity of around 2.7MW. The electricity generated is expected to supply a local business through a ‘direct wire’ model with surplus exported to the grid. The project is currently in the final stages of development and design with initial groundworks complete.
