Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024
The Thrive Renewables Annual General Meeting 2024 was held on Friday 28th June at The Station on Silver Street in Bristol. Those unable to attend in person were able to join and vote via an online platform. 52 shareholders attended in total.
The meeting was chaired by Jo Butlin, Chair of the Board, and all resolutions were passed with a significant majority. The official business was followed by presentations from the management team, outlining highlights from the year and project developments in the pipeline. After the presentations, Professor Nick Robins from the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment joined us for an inspiring fireside chat on a ‘just transition’.
Following the close of meeting, we were delighted to be able to invite shareholders to visit the Ambition Community Energy (ACE) wind project – England’s largest onshore wind turbine that Thrive is proud to have helped fund.
