Join our team

We’re always looking for passionate people looking to join us on our mission. Together we can power a clean energy future.

Looking to make a difference through your work?
As one of the UK’s first mission driven businesses, working with Thrive will see you take an active role in building a cleaner, fairer energy system in the UK.

You’ll help us fund and build exciting new projects – like England’s largest (and 100% community-owned) onshore wind turbine or the UK’s first deep geothermal power plant.

We support the UK Living Wage, offer flexible and hybrid working and provide a host of other benefits to help you develop in your role and fulfil your potential.

About us

We are a small but ambitious team, based in the heart of Bristol. Since 1994, we have been actively crowdfunding and promoting sustainable energy – enabling ordinary people to take a stake in the UK’s transition to a cleaner, fairer energy system.

In total, we have developed, built or funded 39 renewable energy projects, with our current portfolio including onshore wind, hydro, battery storage, heat and solar, with assets under management of £110 million in 2022.

Our culture is inclusive and team-driven, with a focus on delivering positive impact alongside financial performance. We are proud to be a certified B Corporation, scoring in the top 3% of all UK B Corps for our positive environmental and social impact.

We’re an equal opportunity employer, promote diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
