Site visits and open days
Learn how renewable energy projects are helping to tackle the climate crisis.
Visiting our clean energy projects
Over the years, we’ve hosted educational site visits for people of all ages – from local school children and university students to businesses and MPs.
Recent examples include welcoming a group from Babbasa, a Bristol-based social enterprise that sets out to support under-represented young people with their professional aspirations, to our Avonmouth wind farm and office to hear more about green careers.
We’ve also had students from Saïd Business School (part of the University of Oxford) and the University of Bristol visit our wind and battery projects, as well as local nursery and primary school children who have been excited to learn about renewable energy and how it can help make the world a cleaner, fairer place to live.
The power of together
Our annual open days are another opportunity to visit one of our wind, solar or battery sites – taking place at a different location each year. Open to the public, this usually includes a tour of the site as well as other fun and educational initiatives like the interactive pop-up science show, ExplorerDome.
You can be the first to hear about our next open day by signing up to our newsletter below.
